Problem
A request starts in one system, is approved by e-mail, posted in a second and archived in a third. Nobody sees where the case is, who is late and what it costs. BPM tools that solve this require five separate services, the cloud and a developer for every integration.
Automation without an API is left to “click robots” from another tool, licensed per robot and disconnected from the process, the tasks and the audit trail.
Solution
B-ONE BPM is a modular monolith: one Spring Boot backend, one Postgres, one Angular application with the modules Tasks, Processes, Robots, Monitoring, Integrations, Forms, Decisions and Administration. Processes are modelled on a BPMN canvas, conditions are built visually (FEEL and DMN tables behind “Advanced”), forms in a Form.io-compatible builder, and performers are picked from the organisational structure synchronised from AD, Entra or Keycloak.
The integration hub connects REST, SOAP, databases, e-mail, OData, Kafka, Teams and e-signature through connectors with discovery (OpenAPI, WSDL, database schema); for systems without an API the robot agent records web and desktop actions without code. Monitoring provides a heat map on the canvas, bottlenecks, SLA prediction and interventions (retry, skip, move, migrate), and history is an append-only hash chain an auditor can verify.

Yes. Camunda 7 Community Edition is discontinued, Camunda 8 requires the cloud and several separate services under a commercial licence, and Flowable charges for its designer, task list and monitoring. B-ONE BPM is all in one installation, on-premise, with the org structure from AD and built-in RPA.
Not for typical processes: systems are connected through wizards and operation discovery, conditions are built visually, forms in the builder, and every screen has “Try it”. Developers get a clean REST API, OpenAPI documentation and an SDK for special cases.
A robot is the last resort, when a system has no API, but it is first-class: a no-code recorder for web and desktop, robots in the same task list, monitoring and audit chain as people, an orchestrator with queues and SLA, IDP for documents. No per-robot charges.
One Spring Boot backend and Postgres 16 in Docker, on-premise or in the cloud; one Angular application for all modules. Only the agents that must run on another machine (robot agent) live outside the installation, and they are downloaded and updated from the platform.
