LARIS is used by 16 municipalities in Montenegro, including the capital Podgorica and the old royal capital Cetinje. The system covers property tax, utility fees and charges, surtax, residence and tourist taxes, land development fees, leases, registry and business registrations.
Most municipalities start with property tax and utility fees, then add other modules. Migration of existing data and staff training are part of every rollout.
